FAQs

1. How do I place an order?
Just log in and go shopping anytime. Choose the products and quantities you want to order and add them to your shopping cart.

The first time you shop on-line, you will be asked to provide your delivery address details when you get to the Check Out. After that, whenever you are on-line, you will be asked to re-confirm or change your delivery details and payment details whenever you reach the check-out.

2. How do I buy products?
When you find a particular product you want to buy, type in the quantity you require and click the ADD TO CART button - this puts it into your shopping basket. Information about what is in your shopping basket is displayed at all times at the top right hand side of the screen. You can buy at either the Product level (shows the product picture and gives all the specifications) or Subcategory list (the one that lists all the individual products).

When you have finished shopping and are ready to pay for your goods click the VIEW CART button at the top of the screen. This will take you to a detailed list of the products in your cart/basket. The Qty box and the REMOVE ITEM button beside each product provide the opportunity to review your shopping basket at this stage.

If you register with online before you go shopping, and if you are not ready to go through the Checkout, the system will save your unconfirmed order for up to 5 days. So you can shop at your leisure over a few days and save time when you come back to purchase the goods. But please remember - after 5 days unconfirmed, your order will disappear from the system and you'll have to start again

3. I can't see the ADD TO CART button next to the item I want to buy
The ADD TO CART button will disappear if a product is sold out or currently unavailable. All stocked items will have an ADD TO CART button next to them. If you see "Price available on application" it means we are temporarily out of stock but expect to have new stocks soon - we suggest you come back in a week or so

4. I ticked items to add to my cart on the first page of the category, then went to the next page and the items 'fell out' of my cart. What did I do? You must click the ADD TO CART Button for every page on which you make a purchase BEFORE you move to another page. You can only place orders on one page at a time.

5. How do I Find a Product?
Shopping at Logic Gear Online is easy - but we do have a lot of products. Whether you're simply browsing or searching for a specific product there are numerous ways in which to conduct your search:

  • Category Search
    Simply use the menus on the left hand side of the page to select a category you are interested in. A drop-down menu will appear with a further selection of categories. Use your mouse to click on the category you are interested in and this will take you into that page. When you are in a sub-category it is possible to return to the previous selection by clicking the ‘breadcrumb’ (the list just under the top banner of the page).
  • Keyword Search
    At the top left of the screen you will see a box labeled Search. Type a keyword into this box and you can search the entire contents of the site. For example if you were looking accessories for a particular mobile phone type the make and model into the box and click Go and all accessories available will be displayed. You can also search for particular product or by mobile phone brand using the same method.
  • Detailed Product Specs
    When the list of relevant products is displayed on the screen, click on the photograph or the name of the product for more detailed information and a large product image.

6. When will I get my order?
We aim to dispatch all within ten working days of receiving the order, depending on stock availability

All customer orders are dispatched by Australia Post Regular Parcel Post or Australia Post Receipted Delivery (depending on your slection at time of order placement). If your order is held for any reason, we will send you an email asking you to contact us at a convenient time to discuss your order.

Deliveries are not made on weekends or Public Holidays, and we cannot stipulate a time of day for the delivery.

A small percentage of late deliveries will be inevitable with any courier. Because we rely on third parties to deliver your orders we cannot make any guarantees as to the reliability and accuracy of their service. We make every effort to deliver your purchases on time, but shall not be liable for any delays caused. Whilst we endeavor to deliver all items within the time scale given, we cannot be held liable for any delays and/or loss caused by a delay.

You accept that we cannot be held responsible for anyone impersonating you (or your company) for collecting your deliveries at the address you specify.

7. What is your Back Order Policy?
We do not keep back orders for items that are sold out at time of ordering, and you will not be able to order online.

8. How will I know when my order has been dispatched?
Your order should arrive with the Mail within 14 days. If you've ordered Registered Post, you will be advised by Australia Post who will request a signature. If you haven't received your order, and we have not contacted you to advise any delay please either email us at support@logicgear.cn .

If we have a query with the items on your order, or if there is an issue with your payment method, an email will be sent requesting that you contact us at a convenient time. Therefore, please ensure you have provided up-to-date email details. The order will be held until we have made contact with to you.

9. Why must I check the goods before signing?
If you order Registered Mail deliveries must be signed and dated for at time of delivery. Before signing you must check that the goods are received undamaged and you have received the goods listed on the accompanying invoice.

10. What happens if nobody is in?
If for any reason, nobody is in/ or the premises are closed, and you have requested registered delivery, Australia  Post will leave a card advising that your order is available for collection - please contact them. If you do not do this within 7 days, the goods will be returned to Logic Gear.

Redelivery will not be attempted again until we hear from you. The products returned to us as undeliverable will be subject to an additional delivery charge before being re-shipped.

Alternatively, for credit-card paying consumer customers, we shall refund the price you have paid for the products minus an administration and delivery charge.

11. Can I collect my order from Logic Gear’s warehouse?
Sorry - NO. Our distribution centers are not designed to operate as a sales showroom. Hence it is not practical to collect goods from us.

12. Can I cancel an order after I’ve placed it?
If you wish to cancel an order with us, this must be done in writing by fax (03) 9317 5188or e-mail (orders@logicgear.com.au) along with your order number and confirmation of your cancellation request. For items cancelled after dispatch, you will incur a 15% handling charge on the value of goods purchased.

13. What are your payment terms for orders?
We accept the following methods of payment:
Credit Card payment-on-line
If using a Corporate Credit Card we request you fax through copies of the front and back of the card to03 9317 5188 as verification of authority.

Direct bank transfer
If you wish to pay using this method, add your purchases to your shopping cart, proceed to checkout, and select Bank Transfer/Internet Banking as your method of Payment. Our bank account details are as follows (these will also be shown on the shopping cart checkout page and printed out on your copy of the order):

Once you’ve lodged your order, log in to your own Internet Banking Service and arrange to transfer payment.

14. Am I protected if I pay on-line by Credit Card?
The risk of credit card fraud is 100 times greater when you hand your card to the waiter in a restaurant than when you shop on the Internet! Modern day encryption technology, used by Internet stores similar to ourselves, virtually eliminates credit card fraud on the Internet.

The purchase area of our site is secure. We utilise industry-standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of potentially sensitive information such as your name, address and other critically sensitive information like your credit card details. Information passed between your computer and our Web site cannot be read even if it is intercepted by someone else.

All orders that are paid for with credit cards are sent via 128bit SSL and SMIME email encryption. You may receive a warning message from your browser notifying that you are connected to a secure page, please accept this if prompted. The yellow padlock shown in the lower part of your browser and the change in the url from "http://" to "https://" indicated that you are in the secure part of the website.

15. What is your returns policy?
We strive to provide you with the highest standard of products. However, a small level of faulty goods is inevitable. Please adhere to the following guidelines to assist in speedy processing your faulty goods:


Return your retialer and have them arrange to have the faulty products returned to Logic Gearfor evaluation.

OR 

Securely package the products and send them with PROOF OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE eg a copy of your purchase invoice to:

All returns must be in their original packaging and in good condition with complete accessories and proof of purchase. Ensure a packing list is enclosed with the fault descriptions.The cost of return is to be borne by the sender, and it is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate insurance to cover against loss.

Visible damage, misuse and wear & tear are not covered under warranty. Such products will only be returned to sender and freight costs invoiced and billed to your credit/debit card.

Returns are usually credited or replaced within 14 days of receipt. We will either credit your nominated Credit Card to the value of the faulty goods or, where applicable, a credit note will be forwarded to you by email or post and can be redeemed against future purchases.

Some products may be sold on a "Limited Warranty" basis. The terms of this warranty are stated within the product details. Any faults outside of the limitations are not covered.

Any tampering with products will invalidate the manufacturer's warranty and will not be replaced.

16. Do your products come with a warranty?
Logic Gear GPS Navigators are covered by a 12 month manufacturer's warranty unless otherwise stated. All other Logic Gear products are supplied with 3 to 12 month manufacturers warranties.

17. What are you minimum order quantities?
We have no minimum order value at Logic Gear On-line, but freight charges will apply to all individual orders valued at less than $355.00 (excluding GST). Freight charges apply for all Certified Deliveries.

18. Help - I’ve logged in but still cannot view the ADD TO CART buttons.
We suggest the following:

  • ensure you are using a compatible browser
    To obtain access to our site, we strongly suggest using Internet Explorer version IE 5.5 or higher to get the strong encryption. Alternatively you may use Netscape Communicator 4.5 (Navigator 4.08) or later.
    You may check the browser version by going to your browser's HELP menu and choosing "About Internet Explorer/Netscape.". If you do not have at least this version, and you wish to get a free upgrade, go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/download/default.asp.
  • adjust your cookie settings
    A Cookie is a very small text file placed on your hard drive by a Web page server. It is essentially your identification card, and cannot be executed as code or deliver viruses. It is uniquely yours and can only be read by the server that gave it to you. If you are having trouble logging in or have to log in repeatedly, you may not have cookies enabled/accepted.

    Remember that our cookies do not hold any information about you other than those details required to allow you to securely order from us.

    To ensure visibility of prices and purchasing facilities, please adjust your cookie settings to Enable/Accept Cookies. >li>adjust your virus detection / internet privacy / firewall software settings
    Some Virus detection / Firewall software prevent cookie access. Slightly higher than average security settings will also often result in restricted access to our site. Similarly, the default (and slightly higher) settings of Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Privacy software (i.e. Norton) have similar settings that restricting cookie access and hyperlink blocking and halt information exchange between your PC and the website. Please refer to your software help menu to ensure that these settings allow cookie access on your PC.

    In most instances it is simply a matter of adjusting Firewall settings to allow cookies access. Some Virus detection software may also have built-in cookie restriction features that may stop of our site from function correctly. It may be advisable to disable such software while you visit our site then re-enable once you have finished surfing our pages.

19. The quantity I ordered doesn't match the quantity of goods I received  
20. I paid on-line by credit card. I think I have been charged but haven't yet received my goods.
You will receive a Tax Invoice with all goods dispatched.

The invoice details the ACTUAL goods sent to you and occasionally may differ from your original order if we've run out of stock of a particular item after your order has been received. Any stock shortfalls will be credited to your credit card BEFORE the goods are despatched by Logic Gear. Back orders are not held (see Back Order Policy). Your invoice is an important document which must be kept in a safe place since it also acts as your proof of purchase for warranty purposes.

21. I paid by credit card. I want my order to be delivered to a different address
To ensure the highest levels of security and to combat card fraud, delivery is only made to the cardholders address. Goods cannot be delivered to a neighbor.

If you wish for your goods to be sent to an alternative address (i.e. an address which is NOT the cardholder's address) please contact us on (03) 9690 7988.

You are not the owner of the products until they have been paid for and delivered, at which time they will also become your risk and we will not be liable for any subsequent damage, loss or destruction to them.

For protection of all parties, we will withhold dispatch of any orders where the goods ordered through Logic Gear Online are required to be sent to a different address (which is not the cardholder's address) unless other arrangements have been confirmed.

22. Is Logic Gear price-competitive?
In a word – YES – but our main priority is and will continue to be to supply the highest quality and most innovative potable GPS Navigators, Bluetooth products and mobile pohone aftermarket accessories

23. Are Logic Gear products compatible with the technology in all mobile phones?
Logic Gear guarantees the compatibility of our Bluetooth & Data products with the specific makes and models of mobile phones listed in our product information pack at the time of the releases. However later releases of phone models may include revisions or modifications that may affect this compatibility. Please check the product compatibility information carefully before making your purchase.

24. Does Logic Gear stock OEM Products and mobile phones?
Logic Gear sells both OEM ands own-branded GPS Navigators and Bluetooth Headsets plus a full range of Logic Gear mobile phone aftermarket accessories - LogiCases, designer fashion pouches & cases, handsfree units, batteries, pouches, cases, chargers and flashing accessories among others. Logic Gear mobile phone accessories (except Bluetooth) are strictly aftermarket accessories - and we do not sell mobile phones.

25. Does Logic Gear have product updates / offers?
Yes - if you register with our Logic Gear Club - we will regularly advise our product updates and special offers via email and list them on our website. Please advise if you wish to receive them when you register with Logic Gear Online and we will include you on the list.
