Using the USB cable for loading music etc (if you must)

The USB cable is provided for charging and connecting to a PC. This USB cable will only connect to a PC with Microsoft Activ Sync. This product is not compatable with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT or Windows ME. We will always recommend downloading music etc onto an SD card using your PC's card reader - it's a lot easier.

To install the licensed Microsoft ActivSync software provided on the CD in the pack:

1. insert the CD into the CD drive on your PC
2. Open Windows Explorer and install Microsfot ActivSync
3. Plug in the USB Cable to connect your GPS to your PC
4. Windows will automatically install the USB driver and start searching for the appropriate drivers
5. Select folders that include "wceusbsh.inf" and "winceusbsh.sys"
1. for Windows 2000 ande XP you are now ready to use ActivSync
2. for Windows NT, you are required to run "InstMsiW"
3. for Windows 98me you are required to run "InstMsiA"
4. for Windows Vista you are required to install Mobile Windows (ActivSync does not support Vista)
6. for Windows Vista with 32bit install Windows mobile "drvupudate-x86-EN"
7. for Vista with 64bit install "drvupdate-amd64"
