Using your MP3 to play your favourites

You can the MP3 player in your GPS to play your favourite tunes when you don't need GPS navigation. Tune the FM transmitter to your car radio to use your car's stereo sound system (SL350F, SL350D only), or just plug in a headset for private listening.

Acceptable file formats are MP3 (up to 44KHZ) and WMA (up to 44 KHz).

Control your music & Video volumes through the Main Menu Settings when using it in the car - tap Settings / Volume and adjust the slider. You can mute the volume at any time just by tapping the Speaker icon - but remember to tap it again to get volume back or next time you won't hear your navigation instructions.

When you're using a headset,  set your volume using the volume controls inside the MP3 settings.

To Play your MP3

Tap the 'Music' icon on the device main men. choose the frolder on your SD card that contains your MP3 compatible music file, highlight and tap to add to your track list. The SL350F & SL350D can play SD cards up to 4GB.

While playing, you can

·         Set Repeat

·         Adjust Volume or Mute

·         Fast-forward 

·         Stop and Pause

·         Next or Previous files

·         Display a Listing

without exiting the application. Start your MP3 music first, then go into GPS and set your destination - and play your music with the navigation instructions coming in over the top when you approach your next manouvre.

Tap the Back Arrow button (top LH Corner) to exit Music and return to the Device Main Menu
