Add your own POIs (Points of Interest)
To add your own POIs you must always work from within the map or cockpit screen - in the Find & Go main menu, just tap map to open.
Firstly - you need to set up your own POI categories under My POI's so you can store your favourite destinations. You can have as many My POI categories as you want - family, work clients, favourite restaurants, favourite off-road spots that you set using their latitude & longitude coordinates
To set up a POI category:

- Click
- Menu
- Quick
- Manage POI
- My POI
- New
- Use the keypad to give your folder a name and click Done
- highlight your new folder and click Edit
- tap ICON - and select a suitable symbol from the range on display
- select the distance you want the icon visible from on your map - you have the choice of 100m, 1 km and 10 km
· Scroll back to the map menu - your new folder is ready for you to add your Points of Interest. |

to add a new poi to one of your folders
again - working from within the map or cockpit screen
- click menu / address /town / street / street number to enter the address of your new poi (same as putting in an address for a new destination)
- when the map screen comes up , click poi (instead of route to)
- on the next screen click 'add poi'
- give your new poi a name and click done
- select which folder you want to store it in
and that's it - your poi is stored.

to set your gps to reach a poi at any time,
•1. tap menu
•2. instead of tapping address, tap poi
•3. tap my poi
•4. tap (your folder name)
•5. highlight the poi title and tap ok
•6. then confirm using the route to tab.
your gps will immediately plan your route and start giving directions (as long as you have satellite connection) - no need to key in the address again. |
