SETTINGS / MAP parameters - map colours, street names, etcTap Map to select your map options - including your screen designs Map Colour Profiles Logic Gear Navigation lets you choose from 11 colour schemes for both daytime and night use. The night driving screens are designed to minimise screen glare and make night driving safer. Select a screen design for daytime driving, another for night driving. At sunrise and sunset, your GPS will automatically switch between your selected screen designs. Daylight colour profile Tap Daylight Colour Profile name and tap your preference from the list of screen designs Night colour profile Tap Night Colour Profile name and tap your preference from the list of screen designs Alternative road names Some highways, freeways and main roads also have sections that also have a local name. You can select whether to show only the local name - or both. Tap Alternative Road Names to turn on - the white vertical line shows in the box. Show Street Labels You can set whether to see the street names and POI icons displayed on your map when driving. Depending on the current zoom and tilt levels you have set, street names are displayed either aligned with a street or on signposts stuck into streets. When turned on, it's easier to recognise your location on the map - turn off and it is easier to see the road geometry. Tap Show Street Labels to turn on - the white vertical line shows in the box Textured Polygons When turned on, Textured Polygons gives rivers, lakes, forests, large buildings, etc a more realistic and attractive 3D appearance Status: GPS operating information
