Help - I can't charge my GPS!!!

Checklist:

When charging at home:

1. is the AC plugged into the power socket properly?

2. is the power turned on at the wall switch?

3. have you plugged the power lead into the charging socket on the RHS of the unit?  The 'hole' on the LHS is for your headset - not for charging. If try to charge your unit through the headset socket, you'll wreck your GPS

4. have you connected your GPS to the GPS charger?   With mobile phone etc chargers all looking very similar, it's easy to make a mistake (and we've several mobile phone chargers that have been sent back to us with the claim "the GPS won't charge" that prove this).

Charging using the USB cable

1. Is your PC turned on?

2. is your USB cable securely plugged into both the PC and your GPS?

When charging in the car:

1. is the charger fully plugged into the cigarette lighter socket so it can make connection?

2. have you checked that your cigarette lighter socket is working properly?

3. have you plugged the power lead into the charging socket on the RHS of your GPS? (for SL350D, SL350F & SL350) The 'hole' on the LHS is for your headset - not for charging. If try to charge your unit through the headset socket, you'll wreck your GPS

If none of these work and you need more help - either email us at navigation@logicgear.com.au or call customer service on 1300 882 896.

And a quick reminder, while either charger is connected

- for the SL350D, SL350f and XL488 - the charging light shows ORANGE while charging, and GREEN when fully charged - and no light at all once you've plugged your charger.

- for the SL350 - the charging light shows RED while charging, and goes off completely once charged
