Introduction

Your SL350 is a great little unit - but it's also a sophisticated electronic device with it's own mini computer. You just need to tap the screen lightly with a fingernail or the stylus to get action - not press down hard to force it to move. Please be a little gentle with it.

Your map is already loaded into the SL350F memory - so there is no SD card in your pack - you don't need it. The SD Card slot is for loading your own SD card to play your MP3 music or videos - or maps for other countries that you will be able to purchase and download online in September 2007. You will also be able to purchase and download Sensis Map updates as they are released - but the next release is not scheduled until 2008.

You do not need to back up your onboard maps - and we recommend you don't. Your maps ad software are locked to your specific GPS unit (they won't work in any other GPS), and if anything goes awry with your navigation software just call us on 1300 882 896 for help.

The SL350F onboard map does not include Fixed Red Light, Fixed Speed Camera & School Zone warnings. You will also be able to purchase Sensis WhereIs Map updates online as they are released - the next release is not scheduled until 2008  - and will have option then of upgrading to the Deluxe Version if you wish.

You can use the onboard FM transmitter to braodcast your MP3 music through throu car's audio system when not using GPS. Or if you find an FM station within the transmittr's range, you can tune to that station - the navigation instructions will interrupt when you get clsoe to your next manouvre and meantime you get to listen to the music.
